SVG, PDF and DXF dieline workflows

Choose an export format based on the next verified application in the production chain.

SVG stays editable

SVG is useful for browser inspection, vector design tools and many craft cutters. Confirm units and avoid accidental scaling during import.

PDF supports actual-size review

PDF is convenient for proofing and tiled printing. Disable fit-to-page when the goal is a true-scale prototype.

DXF is a CAD interchange format

DXF can move paths into CAD, laser and tooling workflows, but layer names, units and curve support vary. Test a calibration file before relying on it.
